We’d like to keep you updated on how TSB Real Estate is continuing to operate now our country is moving to COVID-19 Alert Level Three. Our focus remains on doing what we can to keep our salespeople, vendors, valued stakeholders and wider communities safe.

As we are sure you can appreciate, the situation is ever-changing and the way we work with you will be different for some time, so we thank you in advance for being understanding of that.

How we’ll be operating going forward

  • TSB Real Estate offices remain closed and open homes cancelled
  • Private viewings are strictly by appointment only and with the consent of the property owner and occupants
  • The Real Estate Institute of New Zealand have released guidelines on COVID-19 Level 3 for the Real Estate industry and we will be adhering to these

How we are working

  • Our office-based salespeople will continue to work from home
  • With our offices closed to the public, our frontline people will be working from home where possible and those who must work from the office will be adhering to strict physical distancing measures and hygiene practices

What this means for you

All contact with our salespeople will still need to take place over email, phone or video conferencing.

We are only able to show people through your home if the following guidelines are followed:

  • Maximum of two people from the attendee’s ‘bubble’ to attend a brief private viewing
  • One private viewing at a time
  • Attendees to wait in their vehicles until the salesperson advises they can enter, to ensure that there is no contact between attendees
  • Physical distancing of 2m to be maintained at all times
  • Salespeople to wear gloves and hand sanitiser to be available for use by all attendees entering and exiting property
  • No private viewings at properties where a person living at property is, or has been in the 14 days prior to the viewing, unwell or self-isolating
  • COVID-19 information and hygiene notices are displayed at the property
  • Those feeling unwell, have travelled overseas recently, are self-isolating or have been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 may not attend the viewing
  • Afterwards, sanitise or use antibacterial wipes to wipe down areas attendees may have accidentally touched
  • We are able to offer appraisals if:  1. Physical distancing of 2m to be maintained at all times;  2. No appraisals at properties where a person living at property is, or has been in the 14 days prior to the viewing, unwell or self-isolating;  3. Only one salesperson to attend the property;  4. Time at property is brief
  • Settlements and moving house can occur, please contact your solicitor to see if there are any changes that may need to be made to settlement dates or dates of conditions
  • We are still responding to enquiries and doing everything we can do to assist with the sale of your home
